Beautiful Antique Repousse Sterling Silver Figural Hand Mirror by R. Wallace & Sons.
This is the Irian pattern showing a mythological scene. Likely showing Venus or Aphrodite with the Amorini or cherubs as well as the Iris flower (Irian). Wonderfully detailed repousse. It's marked on the top of the mirror, and has the patent date of 1903. The body of the hand mirror measures about 5-1/4" across, and the total length including the handle 7-1/2". It's Not monogramed. It weighs 10.2oz on jewelry scale. The beveled mirror is in very good condition and does have a light scratch. *see photo* There are a few small dents on the edge of the silver mount and one on the handle. **see the last four photos**
